So one random day, I decided I wanted to start and experiment with something of my own. Like most people, corporate life had started feeling repetitive and I wanted out.

I’ve always loved personalising the things I own be it, my room, my outfits, my nails, and now even my phone case. People around me knew this about me. I was always switching cases, trying different brands, different patterns, and sometimes even painting my own phone case just for fun. Then one day, I came across a phone case with an Indian pattern on it and thought "WOW! These are so beautiful and unique, we definitely need more of these"

That’s when it started.

All over the world, different cultures have strong design identities, Japanese minimalism, Korean aesthetics, American consumerism (?), and it made me realise there’s a huge space waiting to be filled by Indian design. Indian patterns are loud, busy, intricate, expressive, and vibrant, and that’s their magic. Our textiles, prints, tiles, and motifs are so versatile that there truly feels like there’s something for everyone.

So when I see someone carrying a small piece of our heritage in their own little way, it genuinely makes me happy.
